For IP/licensing reasons, this is an “Old One” in Dungeons & Dragons. But we all know it’s Cthulhu, and don’t try to tell me otherwise. This avatar is emerging from the deep… or maybe from a cultist ritual pool.

This model was fun to paint, and thanks to the Citadel contrast paints it actually went very fast. I used two different blues for the water, and two different greens on the skin. The only layer/standard paint I used was for the eyes. This is by no means my most professional/serious work, but it was one I just wanted to have done and I knew would look good (enough) using only the quick contrast painting.
